About The Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Anesthesiologist to provide clinical anesthesia services in a New York State healthcare facility. This role involves delivering safe, effective anesthesia care and ensuring compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and patient safety standards. The position is part of a long-term government contract. Competitive Compensation: Earn $206 per hour Work Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week (PTE estimated). Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted New York State medical license
  • DEA registration (if applicable)
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Must pass background screening, including: Staff Exclusion List (SEL), Statewide Central Register (SCR) check
  • Must comply with Justice Center Code of Conduct
  • Credential verification (education, licenses, certifications) required
  • Must meet all OMH facility compliance and patient safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and risk assessments
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia levels
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
  • Respond to emergency situations and critical care needs
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare teams
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
