About The Position

The Financial Center Manager Associate (FCMA) participates in a comprehensive, customized onboarding and education program designed to prepare successful candidates for a Financial Center Manager role. The program includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. After successfully completing the training program, the FCMA is placed in a Financial Center.

The role develops skills in consumer and small business relationship management, consultative sales, financial needs assessment, team leadership, and collaboration with business partners. The FCMA is expected to complete the program roadmap and onboarding activities, including Consultative Selling Skills Certification, and to follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies. Requirements

• College degree or at least two years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities.
• Business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System is required at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Complete the FCMA roadmap and onboarding activities from the first day through program completion, including successful completion of Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
• Develop proficiency in deepening Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience.
• Gain and maintain working knowledge of Fifth Third products, services, processes, and internal resources to stay informed and guide the team.
• Learn to use the consultative sales process to identify current or prospective customers’ financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Understand how to develop an integrated book-of-business strategy in which customers across channels receive a Financial Needs Assessment and are assigned to the best banker for proactive ongoing support.
• Learn to source, develop, coach, and lead a team that reinforces company core values and business strategies.
• Cultivate a One Bank culture through proactive collaboration with business partners.
• Participate in activities that benefit the communities served.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures, modeling expected ethical behavior.
• Assist in providing employees timely, candid, and constructive feedback; developing employees; providing challenging career-growth opportunities; and recognizing and rewarding accomplishments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
