About The Position

Actively Hiring Experienced Caregivers with Significant Dementia Experience. Come be a part of Cheer Home Care and help us bring joy to our clients' lives. As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled, specifically for 12-hours shifts with individuals with dementia. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in dementia care.
Proven track record of providing high-quality care.
Experience with specialized care, such as Dementia or Parkinson's.
Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement).
Cell phone with internet access.

Nice To Haves

CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
Provide transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
Organize dementia-friendly tasks and activities.
Perform light housekeeping and organization.
