About The Position

Actively Hiring Experienced Caregivers with Significant Dementia Experience for 12 Hour Overnight Shifts. Cheer Home Care is looking for compassionate, patient, and reliable caregivers with experience supporting individuals with dementia. As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled, specifically for 12-hour shifts with individuals with dementia. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of providing high-quality care
• Experience with specialized care, such as Dementia or Parkinson's, is required
• Caregivers who want to stick with the same client long-term, building a strong relationship over the years
• Someone who treats clients like family and takes pride in making a positive difference every day
• 10+ Dementia Care Experience
• Cell phone with internet access

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing compassionate dementia care with patience and respect
• Offering companionship, engagement, and emotional support throughout the evening with dementia-friendly activities
• Supporting mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Maintaining a calm and comfortable atmosphere
• Helping with activities of daily living
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Able to drive the client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
