About The Position

Washington Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse with dementia or memory care experience. The RN will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership and teamwork, collaboration with nursing and other facility teams, and respectful interpersonal communication.

Requirements

• Current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Experience in dementia or memory care.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
