About The Position

About eState Planner eState Planner is on a mission to improve estate planning for Canadians by empowering professionals with modern, intuitive tools. Our platform helps legal and financial professionals deliver a more client-focused experience while improving efficiency and accuracy. Built with deep domain expertise, eState Planner combines intelligent, rule-based technology with a user-friendly interface to support the drafting of both simple and complex estate plans. About the role We’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager to help us build awareness, strengthen our brand, and create demand as we continue to grow. This role plays a key part in both: Expanding into new markets , and Reinforcing our presence in existing ones You’ll focus on demand creation—not performance marketing —owning how we show up to our audiences through content, brand, events, and partnerships. You’ll work closely with our VP of Growth and collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience to ensure our go-to-market efforts are aligned and effective. This is a highly cross-functional role with real ownership and impact.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, ideally in SaaS or a startup environment
  • Experience in demand generation, content, or brand-focused roles
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and messaging skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute independently
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with events, partnerships, or community-building is a strong plus
  • Interest in legal, financial services, or legaltech is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive demand across new and existing markets
  • Develop and execute demand generation initiatives to increase awareness and pipeline across both new and established segments
  • Strengthen our presence and engagement within our current market while supporting expansion into new audiences
  • Identify opportunities to improve top-of-funnel performance beyond paid channels
  • Own and execute our content strategy (website, social, thought leadership, partnerships)
  • Create and repurpose high-quality content that educates, builds trust, and reinforces our position in the market
  • Translate customer insights, product value, and market trends into compelling narratives
  • Help evolve and execute our brand across both existing and new markets
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels
  • Contribute to positioning and narrative development alongside leadership
  • Help build and grow a community of legal and financial professionals around eState Planner
  • Develop strategies to engage and nurture this audience through a mix of: Content Events (virtual and in-person) Community initiatives
  • Plan and execute sponsored events and industry conferences
  • Drive participation and engagement within our online community platform
  • Create feedback loops between the community and internal teams (Product, Sales, Marketing)
  • Maximize the impact of events and community initiatives through structured pre-, during-, and post-event strategies
  • Work closely with Sales to convert community and event engagement into pipeline
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand reach and credibility
  • Deepen existing partnerships while exploring new ones aligned with our growth strategy
  • Collaborate on co-marketing initiatives and content distribution
  • Partner with Sales (BDRs/AEs) to support outbound efforts with messaging and assets
  • Collaborate with the VP of Growth on campaign alignment and insights
