About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers, handle customer returns, and support warehouse operations as needed. The role requires a valid Class A or Class B CDL, compliance with DOT standards and company safety procedures, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; hours may vary and overtime may be needed. The position requires pre-employment drug and background screening.

Requirements

Hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Communicate effectively and take a customer-focused approach.
Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior flatbed experience is preferred.
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the materials.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials as needed.
Work overtime as needed.
Adhere to safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
