About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with daily home time and no nights or weekends. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid after 90 days of employment. The role may require overtime as needed. The driver assists with loading and unloading, delivers tickets with materials, picks up customer returns, and conducts daily truck inspections. The role also includes warehouse tasks such as preparing orders and receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials. Drivers must follow DOT standards, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Must adhere to safety regulations and use required PPE, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Nice To Haves

0–3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred.
PVF experience preferred.
Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures and comply with applicable safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and a safety harness.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
