About The Position

Trek Delivery, LLC is hiring reliable, hard-working team players for a non-CDL delivery driver position. Drivers deliver packages on time while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. The role involves working independently on the road and collaborating with the team, including participating in rescue calls when coworkers need help. Drivers are provided paid training, uniforms, a company vehicle, gas, and handheld technology. Shifts start at 10:55 a.m. and are usually 10 hours per day. Full-time drivers typically work a flexible schedule of four days (40 hours) per week; part-time drivers work one to three days (fewer than 40 hours) per week. Shifts are available seven days a week, and drivers must be able to work one weekend day. The job includes at least two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break. Starting pay is $22.75 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate and possible bonuses. A $1,000 sign-on and retention bonus is paid after 90 days if eligibility criteria are met. Weekly performance bonuses may be available after 30 days, subject to route completion, safety scores, attendance, and satisfactory performance. The job is permanent.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license.
Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record; multiple violations may disqualify applicants.
Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills.
Must successfully pass a four-panel drug screening; the screening does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana.
Must be able to work one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday.
Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including frequent package handling and vehicle entry and exit.

Responsibilities

Handle and deliver packages successfully and on time.
Drive company vehicles safely and perform vehicle safety inspections.
Work in all weather, lighting, and road conditions and on various routes.
Comply with local and state laws, driving regulations, and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service despite stressful events or conditions.
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure deliveries are completed and customer service is exceptional.
Use a smartphone for GPS navigation, package scanning, administrative tasks such as clocking in and out, and communication with management and team members.
Repeatedly enter and exit the van, walk, and climb steps or stairs while delivering packages.
Load, sort, and unload 150 or more packages, ranging from envelopes to boxes.
Frequently lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 pounds and move packages weighing 50–70 pounds on and off a hand truck without a helper.
Work independently and maintain the cleanliness, safe operation, and maneuvering of the delivery vehicle.
Support the team in daily work requirements, including participating in rescue calls when other team members need help.
