About The Position

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and the distribution center safely and efficiently. Drive a company vehicle along an established city route, maintain delivery documentation, and provide professional customer service. The role includes conducting basic vehicle checks, reporting maintenance needs and delivery delays, and securing the vehicle and related equipment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must have the legally required state driver's license and meet company-mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or the distribution center.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route and deliver them to the appropriate store.
• Maintain the daily city route manifest.
• Keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure, and know accident-reporting guidelines.
• Ensure a designated team member at each store verifies invoices and signs the route manifest.
• Make deliveries according to the set schedule and report delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on the route.
• Maintain a professional and personable image and communicate store problems or special needs to store management.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.
• Check vehicle fluid levels and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the business day.
• Drive safely and defensively.
