About The Position

The Delivery Specialist - Hub delivers parts and products to O’Reilly stores and the distribution center safely and efficiently. The role follows a set city route and schedule, maintains delivery documentation, secures and checks the company vehicle, and communicates delivery issues or store needs to appropriate personnel. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Have a legally required state driver's license and meet company-mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Nice To Haves

Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or the distribution center.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop and deliver them to the appropriate store.
Maintain the daily city route manifest and have a designated team member at each store verify invoices and sign the manifest.
Make deliveries according to the set schedule and report delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on the route.
Keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure, and follow accident report guidelines.
Maintain a professional and personable image and communicate store problems or special needs to store management.
Clock in and out according to company policy.
Check vehicle fluid levels and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager.
Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the business day.
Drive safely and defensively.
