Delivery Representative- CDL Required
About The Position
AmeriGas is seeking safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations as well as AmeriGas safety and operating policies. Work schedules may vary with business needs and include 8- to 12-hour shifts. The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts as business needs fluctuate.
- Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; employees are subject to substance abuse testing under AmeriGas policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
