About The Position

Cauler Containers is hiring a Delivery/Repo Driver in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, to deliver and retrieve carts for residential customers. The driver works independently on assigned routes while providing dependable, courteous customer service and representing the company positively. The role involves safely operating a company truck with a manual transmission, using a smartphone app to manage assignments and routes, and communicating with dispatch. The company is family-owned and serves residential customers throughout Lancaster and Chester Counties.

Requirements

• Clean driving record.
• Experience safely operating commercial vehicles, including a manual-transmission truck.
• Possess a DOT medical card or be willing to obtain one.
• Confidently use a smartphone and mobile applications for assignments, navigation, documentation, and communication.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependability and ability to manage routes with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly bend, kneel, and climb in and out of the truck.
• Driver's license.

• Experience with waste industry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carts safely and efficiently, placing them accurately according to customer requests and company guidelines.
• Retrieve carts promptly while following safety procedures and providing customer service.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company safety standards, including driving a manual-transmission truck.
• Inspect the truck and equipment before and after each shift.
• Use a company mobile application on a smartphone to receive assignments, navigate routes, document deliveries, communicate completion, and stay connected with dispatch.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and complete required documentation promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch about schedule changes, delays, and customer concerns.
• Provide courteous, dependable service and protect company equipment and customers' property.
