About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a Delivery Material Handler/Roof Loader to support the safe and accurate delivery of building materials from its warehouse to job sites. The role involves unloading orders according to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries; rooftop assignments require physically working on rooftops. The position also provides warehouse support as needed and requires all duties to be performed safely.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with willingness to work overtime as needed. The listed pay rate is $22–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. ABC Supply describes itself as an employee-first company and an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a commercial driver's license.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or job sites, including unloading and staging products at job sites as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
