About The Position

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers help safely and accurately deliver materials from the warehouse to job sites, unloading orders according to customer specifications with various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. The role specializes in ground and/or rooftop deliveries; rooftop delivery work requires physically working on rooftops.

The position also provides warehouse support as needed and may involve delivering materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging products. Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift 75–100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a CDL.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging products as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
