About The Position

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers help ensure the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to job sites. They unload orders according to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts, and may specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries. Rooftop deliveries require physically working on rooftops. The position also provides warehouse support as needed and requires all duties to be performed safely.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a commercial driver's license.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging products at jobsites as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
