About The Position

Delivery Material Handlers at ABC Supply assist with the safe and accurate delivery of building materials from the warehouse to customer or job-site locations. They unload orders according to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts, and may specialize in ground or rooftop deliveries. Rooftop delivery work requires physically working on rooftops. The role may also include warehouse support and assisting with delivery functions such as unloading and staging product at job sites. All duties must be performed safely.

Requirements

Ability to consistently lift 75–100 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
Adhere to safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a CDL.
Provide superior customer service.
Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are secured for delivery.
Provide warehouse support as needed.
Assist with delivering materials to customers or job sites, including unloading and staging products as assigned.
Perform all duties safely.
