About The Position

The Delivery Installer is part of the Equipment Service Team and is responsible for maintaining, repairing, delivering, setting up, moving, and exchanging company beverage equipment to support customer satisfaction and sales. Equipment includes vending machines, coolers, restaurant fountain equipment, and coffee dispensing equipment. The role also performs preventive and quality maintenance checks and maintains related records and reports.

The position involves customer-facing work at customer locations, equipment loading and unloading, troubleshooting and repair, and operation of vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions. Scheduling flexibility is required. Work may take place at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in moderately noisy environments where manufacturing or warehousing equipment is operating. Employees may be required to supply hand tools. Company-provided PPE includes hearing protection, a hard hat, and safety glasses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of general work experience.
• Mechanical skills and demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Ability to follow manufacturers’ specifications and schematics.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving history that meets company guidelines.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform heavy lifting daily.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• May be required to supply hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification.
• General plumbing and technical experience.
• Prior experience moving equipment.
• Previous vending equipment repair and distribution experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience in a high-speed industrial environment.
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, remove, exchange, and relocate beverage equipment.
• Load and unload equipment for delivery or return.
• Communicate with customers and supervisors about delivery and pickup status.
• Check cooler placement, temperature, and refrigeration.
• Educate customers on equipment operation.
• Assist with installation, removal, and relocation of fountain and coffee dispensing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Maintain on-vehicle parts inventory and request parts to ensure adequate stock.
• Complete required paperwork, including work tickets, parts lists, and vehicle inspections.
• Rebuild and repair parts and equipment.
• Use an electronic handheld device such as an iPad for data entry and retrieval.
• Provide customer service by traveling to customer locations to deliver or repair equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow and reinforce company regulations, policies, procedures, and processes.
