About The Position

Delivery Helpers are paired with CDL Drivers for each truck route. They assist with navigation and unload and deliver products to each account. The role is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, based in Danvers, Massachusetts. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7:15 a.m.; end times vary between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. depending on the route and daily workload. Pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, with a starting rate of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, a legal requirement to transport alcohol.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 7:15 a.m.; end times may vary between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. depending on route and delivery volume.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly; lift approximately 55 pounds; operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs; and frequently walk up and down stairs and inclines.
• Sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the warehouse for return to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Assist CDL Drivers with navigation and unloading products.
