About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members may also perform general store duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves driving and delivering products to customers, as well as working in a store environment with varying temperatures, food-related odors and dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position includes frequent standing, reaching, and bending; deliveries may involve carrying food and beverages and navigating stairs or other challenging terrain.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with calculator use if needed.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical ability to stand and walk for work tasks, carry deliveries, and sometimes navigate five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to lift and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring them to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Unload and move ingredient and supply deliveries, using a hand truck when needed.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
