The Delivery Expert delivers customer orders by car and to the customer’s door, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role begins part-time; scheduled hours depend on the employee’s availability and the store’s needs. Employees may have the opportunity to move into full-time work if hours are available and they complete training, reliably work scheduled shifts, and communicate their needs to the manager. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers are paid $17.13 per hour. Credit-card tips, cash tips, and partial mileage reimbursement are paid at the end of each shift; the posting states that earnings with tips may average up to $30.00 or more per hour. Hourly pay is issued by check or direct deposit twice monthly. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to employees who have worked at least one year and average at least 32 hours per week. Sick pay follows Washington State requirements. In addition to delivery work, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves indoor and outdoor tasks, driving in varying weather, and physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
