About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers orders to customers within a designated area and performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, handling telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule based on employee availability and store needs; the posting states that positions are part-time unless otherwise indicated. Employees may have an opportunity to work full-time if store hours allow and they complete training, reliably work shifts, and communicate their needs to a manager. The position pays $17.13 per hour. Credit-card tips, cash tips, and partial mileage reimbursement are paid at the end of each shift; the posting says earnings with tips may average up to $30.00 or more per hour. Hourly wages are paid by check or direct deposit twice monthly. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to employees who have worked at least one year and average at least 32 hours per week. Sick pay follows Washington State requirements. The work includes driving and delivering products, sometimes in adverse weather and to locations involving stairs or multi-story buildings. Store duties involve standing and walking, handling food and supplies, and exposure to hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
