About The Position
Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car and to customers’ doors, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. They also operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a store and driving within a designated delivery area. Work may include exposure to varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical duties include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, bending, occasional crouching, and navigating stairs or other delivery terrain. Deliveries may involve climbing five or more flights of stairs. Team members may handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone and in person.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Must have eye-hand/finger coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate to customer addresses, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
- Use computers or touch screens to enter orders and process customer transactions.
