About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. Store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves in-store and delivery tasks in varied conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and potentially adverse weather. Physical tasks include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, occasional crouching or squatting, and navigating stairs or ladders. Delivery routes may involve multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate to addresses within the delivery area, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and stock items on shelves.
