About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and perform general store team-member duties. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

The role involves working in a store environment and outdoors in varying weather. It requires frequent standing and reaching, some walking, lifting and carrying supplies, and navigating stairs or other delivery terrain. Store conditions may include temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Ability to drive in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and adverse terrain.
• Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
