About The Position

The Delivery Expert checks products for accuracy and quality, then delivers orders to customers safely, courteously, and promptly as part of a restaurant team. The role also supports other restaurant workstations, follows Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards, and complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. The position includes preparing the vehicle for deliveries, learning the delivery area, processing telephone orders, providing professional customer service, delivering flyers and door hangers, handling customer information responsibly, processing credit transactions, and making bank deposits as needed. Team members may also prepare food and ingredients, take orders, stock supplies, take inventory, complete paperwork, operate and clean equipment, and perform closing and other assigned duties. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with split pay rates for in-store and on-the-road work. The employee must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies. The role involves frequent standing and hand use, lifting and carrying supplies and orders, navigating stairs or other terrain, and working in varying weather and restaurant temperatures. A valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where the employee works, an acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle.
Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
Must be cross-trained and able to perform other restaurant workstation duties as needed.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying products.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Ability to handle customer information responsibly and interact safely with customers at their homes.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and forearms.
Bilingual ability in certain markets.

Responsibilities

Prepare the vehicle for deliveries and learn the designated delivery area.
Check orders for quality and accuracy and follow proper delivery procedures.
Deliver pizza, sides, beverages, flyers, and door hangers to customers and other locations in the delivery area.
Provide positive and professional customer service in person and by phone, including safely interacting with customers at their homes.
Receive and process telephone orders and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Handle sensitive and confidential customer information responsibly.
Execute credit transactions and make bank deposits as necessary.
Work as part of a team, arrive on time, support other workstations, and complete closing duties, including cleaning.
Operate equipment and clean equipment and the facility daily.
Perform other workstation duties, including making quality products, preparing ingredients and products, and taking orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Safely operate a motor vehicle and navigate to addresses within the delivery area.
Perform assigned duties while following company standards and applicable laws and ordinances.
