About The Position

The Delivery Expert checks products for accuracy against quality standards and delivers products to customers safely, courteously, and on time while working as part of a team. The position also supports restaurant operations by performing other workstation duties, follows Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards, and complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with split pay rates for in-store and on-the-road work. Delivery Experts prepare their vehicles, learn the delivery area, check orders, follow delivery procedures, and interact professionally with customers in person or by phone. They deliver pizzas to customers’ homes and flyers or door hangers, process telephone orders, handle confidential customer information responsibly, execute credit transactions, and make bank deposits as needed. They also support other restaurant workstations, including food preparation, ingredient preparation, order taking, stocking, inventory, cleaning, and closing duties. The role requires safe vehicle operation and navigation of the delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Work involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, hand use, and bending, as well as lifting and carrying supplies and products. The work environment may include varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works.
Acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle.
Ability to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the described physical duties, including lifting and moving cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be cross-trained and able to perform other restaurant workstation duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide positive, professional customer service in person and by phone, including safe interactions at customers’ homes.
Receive and process telephone orders and handle confidential customer information responsibly.
Execute credit transactions and make bank deposits as necessary.
Work as part of a team by arriving on time, supporting other workstations, and completing closing duties, including cleaning.
Operate restaurant equipment and clean equipment and the facility daily.
Perform other workstation duties, including making quality products, preparing ingredients and products, and taking orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
Navigate the designated delivery area and safely operate a motor vehicle.
Comply with Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards and applicable laws and ordinances.
