About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated delivery area. Team members deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
- Far vision and night vision for driving; talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload bulk deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
