About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management or franchise ownership. New team members receive on-the-job orientation and training.

Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

The position involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling payments, and navigating delivery routes and sites. Work takes place in a store and outdoors, with exposure to variable weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Delivery routes may include stairs and other challenging terrain.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and carry them to the customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Handle monetary change accurately.
• Navigate delivery routes, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
