About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking a Delivery Expert to deliver orders and support store operations. Team members may work part time or full time, with schedules described as accommodating different needs. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The company describes opportunities for career advancement, including progression from delivery and customer service roles into management or franchise ownership. The role includes general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include delivering products by car to customers, delivering flyers and door hangers, and navigating the designated delivery area and customer locations. The work involves standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and handling ingredients and supplies. Physical activities may include lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Working conditions can include adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate delivery routes and customer locations, including multi-story buildings and other challenging terrain.
Unload and stock product deliveries, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
