About The Position
Domino's is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving and making deliveries, team members operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, take and process telephone orders, complete inventory and paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves frequent standing and reaching, some walking, lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing stairs or ladders. Delivery work may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs, adverse terrain, and varying weather conditions. Store conditions include temperature changes, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and cramped spaces.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment and prepare products.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
