About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance from delivery driver to management or other roles. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store team-member duties, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and facilities. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit for paperwork, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and carry other supplies as described.
Ability to work around varying or adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigation skills.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Make accurate monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
