About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is seeking customer service representatives with strong people skills and personality. Team members work together to help the company serve customers and prepare, bake, or handle pizzas during busy periods. Schedules may accommodate part-time or full-time availability, and the role may suit someone seeking a main job or supplemental work. Opportunities for growth may include advancement from customer service representative to management and beyond. The work takes place in a pizza store and involves customer interaction, food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and other store tasks. Team members may work alone or with others, perform repetitive tasks, meet quality standards, and make decisions while working under stress. Conditions include exposure to varying weather during some outside tasks, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate by talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, and work alone or with others.
- Ability to work under stress, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
- Ability to unload and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds and stack them on shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Eye-hand coordination and ability to frequently or forcefully use hands, forearms, and wrists for tasks such as shaping dough, handling pizza tools, and assembling boxes.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and interact with customers, including answering phones.
- Prepare, bake, and handle pizzas and related food items.
- Perform other in-store tasks, including removing trash and outside tasks as needed.
- Unload deliveries and stock ingredients and supplies.
- Move trays using dollies and carry supplies and food items.
- Clean work areas and dishes, and perform occasional maintenance tasks.
- Meet strict quality control standards and make work-related judgments and decisions.
