About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items while providing friendly, efficient customer service and representing the store positively. The role combines driving with in-store work, including taking orders, handling cash, preparing food, and helping keep the store clean and stocked. Delivery Experts are expected to drive safely, know the delivery area, and follow traffic laws. The position offers training and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Accurately and quickly perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and team members by phone and in person.
Have the required motor coordination, vision, hearing, and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces for driving and in-store tasks.
Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Be able to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the described pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional stair or ladder tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws.
Learn and navigate the store’s delivery area using area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, and greet customers promptly.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile funds, and report tips accurately.
Help prepare orders by making pizzas, preparing dough, and preparing or restocking toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store issued Domino’s equipment.
