About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and co-worker communication, order entry, money handling, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The role involves standing and walking for much of the work, driving, and periodically lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may expose team members to varying weather, hot equipment and surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and significant temperature changes. Delivery work may involve carrying food and beverages and navigating stairs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid, and accurate movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, occasional crouching or squatting, climbing, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use order-entry equipment such as a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
