About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers orders by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to navigate delivery sites, including private homes and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Lifting may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including bringing orders to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
