About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while providing friendly, courteous service and representing the store positively. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, stocking supplies, and keeping the store clean. Drivers are expected to know the delivery area, handle cash accurately, and drive safely. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, tips and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid driver's license and provide proof of liability insurance.
• Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
• Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
• Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
• Accurately and quickly add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Be able to comprehend written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and team members.
• Have the motor coordination, vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination needed to perform delivery and in-store tasks.
• Be able to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods during scheduled work.
• Be able to handle the physical tasks described, including lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
• Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
• Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
• Know the store's delivery area and read area maps.
• Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and process orders.
• Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile payments, and report tips accurately.
• Help prepare pizzas, make dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
• Help keep the store clean and stocked.
• Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
• Use, return, and properly store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
