CDL Delivery Driver - St. Cloud
About The Position
Viking Electric is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The role delivers electrical products from the warehouse to local customers using a box truck or straight truck. Drivers inspect their vehicle, load materials and packages, make deliveries, contact customers upon arrival, and assist with unloading. The driver represents the company while building customer relationships and must follow applicable safety procedures and regulations. Deliveries are local, with drivers returning home each night. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 4 a.m. start. The position requires a valid Class B CDL, a DOT physical, basic math and English communication skills, and the ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles and lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds. Training is provided for operating equipment. Pay is $24.00–$29.00 per hour, depending in part on relevant Class B CDL delivery experience, with a short-term incentive bonus and full benefits package.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a Class B CDL.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds.
- Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation physical with the company’s physician network.
- Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Willingness to learn to operate equipment; training is provided.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of the route.
- Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
- Contact customers upon arrival and assist with unloading deliveries.
