About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
- Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs, while carrying products.
- Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
- Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and to their doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
