About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and performs general store-team duties. These duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, completing inventory and related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role includes on-the-job orientation and training. Domino’s describes flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and ability to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to work in conditions involving changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near, mid-range, far, and night vision; depth perception; and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers and to their doors within the designated delivery area; make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use navigational skills to locate addresses and travel through delivery sites, including multi-story buildings.
