About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management and franchise ownership. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling payments, and navigating delivery locations and store work areas.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Ability to meet the sensory demands of the role, including talking and hearing on the telephone, near-, mid-, and far-range vision, depth perception, distinguishing hot and cold surfaces, and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery routes and locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
Perform other store team-member duties, including moving trays and cleaning work areas.
