About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers customer orders by car within a designated delivery area and to the customer's door. The role also includes delivering flyers and door hangers, and performing general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and process orders by telephone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers' doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery routes and customer locations, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
