About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include transporting products by car to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. The position involves working in a store and making deliveries in varying weather conditions. Work may expose team members to temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, including by telephone, to process orders.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying products, climbing stairs, and standing and reaching for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use maps and other navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery routes, including multi-story buildings.
