About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store duties. These duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a fast-paced store environment and may require navigating adverse weather, varied temperatures, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, and delivery locations with stairs or other challenging terrain.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, in person and by telephone.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to make precise, rapid movements with hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and carry products to customers’ doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage areas.
