About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, keeping the store clean and stocked, and helping with other tasks as needed. Team members receive training and support, and the position offers opportunities for career progression. Work may involve driving in varying weather and performing physical tasks in the store, including handling supplies and working around hot surfaces and equipment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
Near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to perform physical tasks that include lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying supplies and dough trays, reaching, bending, pushing loaded tray dollies, and occasionally navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area and maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person, greet customers within 10 seconds, and communicate with customers and team members to process orders.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly display, return, and store Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and move product deliveries and supplies using a hand truck and other equipment as needed.
