About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, keeping the store clean and stocked, and completing other tasks such as distributing leaflets and door hangers. Delivery Experts work with a store team and may have opportunities for training and career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver's license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and over the phone.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to handle deliveries and supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the described lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasional stair or ladder tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, know the delivery area, and read area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person; greet customers promptly and process orders accurately.
Handle cash, complete cash drops and reconciliations, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly return and store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries and assist with other store tasks as needed.
