About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

In addition to delivering orders by car and to customers’ doors, team members may deliver flyers and door hangers, operate store equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean the equipment and facility. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling money, and navigating delivery locations, including stairs and multi-story buildings.

The work includes standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing. Conditions may include adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, hot oven surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Driving may include night conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by telephone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including communicating with customers and coworkers.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, private homes, and multi-story buildings.
• Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
