About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job, supplemental work, or a role compatible with school and other commitments. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles, including franchise ownership. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers, including bringing orders to the customer’s door, and deliver flyers and door hangers. They also perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, including by telephone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring orders to customers’ doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
