About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including progression into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, using a computer keyboard or touch screen, navigating delivery routes and locations, and working in a range of store and outdoor conditions. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, and reaching, bending, or crouching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Must be able to drive and deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including carrying products to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, and delivery sites.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
