About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza and other products to customers within a designated delivery area, while also performing general store team-member duties. These duties include operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; taking and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role may involve making several deliveries per shift, delivering flyers and door hangers, and working both independently and with other team members. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Advancement opportunities may include management and other roles within the Domino’s organization.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and ability to make precise, rapid movements with speed and accuracy.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to drive and deliver in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near, mid-range, far, and night vision; depth perception; and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including bringing orders to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Work alone and with others, follow quality standards, and interact with customers and co-workers.
